I took the raw (NEF file) opened it in Capture NX, adjusted the white balance, did a small crop, set white and black points to get the best contrast, added a colour control point on Colins face and brightened and improved contrast, applied some sharpening using USM and finally did a slight noise reduction. I then exported to jpg and opened in Photoshop and added the top to the aerial, it was cut off on the original, I also cleaned up some of the dirt on the front of the car.

That was all . . .

Thanks for that Simon. I have been playing around with some of my photos - it's hard to know what is wrong with them in the first place! Nice touch to add the ariel!
