It is Dave Higgs' supercharged Honda VTEC-engined replica,Jerry...a truly wonderful piece of engineering and a very handsome car,I'm sure you'll agree. Spaceframed bodyshell and rear-wheel drive with plenty of mod cons,this is a seriously quick car.
I first saw this car at the 6R4.com open day a couple of years ago,when Dave brought his half-finished project for us to have a look at. It looked pretty impressive even then,but the completed car is quite awesome and attracts a lot of compliments at shows. Dave is a lovely fella (as well as an excellent engineer) and his Metro is a welcome addition to our displays.
